Currently has 9 members and meet reguarly for supervision and education.  Called to Care was originally published in 1991 as part of an ongoing commitment in the United Church of Christ to strengthen lay leadership. The resource has been widely used over the years, and has been adopted across the United Church of Christ and in other denominations by congregations and programs seeking to live out Jesus’ command to “love one another”.

Adult Christian Education

Adult Christian Education

This adult group, open to the entire congregation, meets with the Minister to study a mutually agreed upon topic. In 2008-2009, the group used the same Affirming Faith materials as the Confirmation Class. In 2009-2010, the group used the Kerygma program resource book, Beginnings, a Study of the Call of God in Genesis.  The group uses the materials to learn and to stimulate thoughts about Christian values and how they relate to today's world. The group shares their thoughts and beliefs while wrestling with questions about the way we live out our faith in everyday life.
