This committee oversees the budgetary process and the financial structure of the Church. It receives budgetary requests from other committees, formulates the annual budget, submits it to the Church Council for review and approval and proposes it to the Church for adoption. When the stewardship campaign is completed, the Finance Committee examines the anticipated expenses and income, submits an annual budget to the Church Council for approval, and proposes it to the Church at the Annual Meeting for final adoption. This committee monitors the budget during the year. This commitee also evaluates all Church funds, financing, and record keeping, consults with the Trustees about all bids and bid responses concerning Church property. The committee reviews payment of all bills and purchases of supplies and services, and reviews the financial aspect of all personnel contracts, service contracts, rental agreements, fee schedules and the use of emergency appropriations. This committee reviews and monitors the Financial Secretary's and Treasurer's financial documents and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to standard accounting principles. They currently have 6 members and meet monthly.
